Dovey can be found canoeing, climbing, caving, walking, biking… and the list goes on.
He is multi-skilled and can turn his hand to anything if given the opportunity. Ian is particularly well qualified in climbing and canoeing. He holds his Mountain Instructor Award and various high level Canoe and Kayak Coaching awards.
Ian has recently become a father which hasn’t slowed him down. He takes his son out with him on lots of new adventures and literally shows him the ropes!

KATIE
Katie is qualified as an outdoor instructor and has been working in Cornwall and Devon instructing children in a range of adventurous activities. She has been instructing groups in Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Surfing and Stand Up Paddle Boarding to name just a few.
Katie spends most of her time out walking and exploring new places as well as bouldering and trad climbing whenever she gets the opportunity. Katie also loves swimming and spends a lot of time in both the pool and sea.
Katie hopes that her cool, fun and enthusiastic approach to instructing and teaching outdoor activities will help encourage younger people to get more involved with the outdoors.
JAMES
James loves coaching both land and water based activities, taking people out on adventures and enjoying nature.
A keen paddler, he is at home in anything that floats – sometimes even boats with holes in them! Out on the water he can usually be found with a big smile on his face.
James enjoys going on sea kayaking expeditions to new locations but has come to the conclusion that the South West is best!
